Those caught unaware by a sudden gust of the Karst wind are welcome to warm themselves with our pelinkovec (a spirit made from the herb Artemisia absinthia), plum brandy, brinjevec (technically it is gin, but the locals enjoy it as a digestif) or leviš (Lemon Verbena liqueur).
